gBIT have launched a new website which will provide a service for many customers that are searching for online posters and prints. WhereToBuyPosters.co.uk is an independent website, which aims to serve its users by listing and categorising major online poster and art print suppliers, delivering within the UK. gBIT have won a large contract to develop a contract / position system for the Agricultural feeds industry. The contract is co-sponsored by AB Nutrition Ltd and Thomas Mawer Ltd. We are extremely delighted to have won this contract and are aiming to deliver the Java™ based desktop application by September 2009. gBIT have successfully completed the ABP bulk park interface for AGRENCO UK Ltd. 6 weeks development was followed by a successful roll-out in January 2008. For the technically minded; the interface was a consumer of a .NET web service written by ABP to our specification. We developed our sophisticated client software 'ABPListen' using the Java platform™, JAX-WS and GlassFish. The new website was launched for London based Brimstone Construction on Monday.
We are proud to announce that the new website is a success and has already contributed to new business for the company. The website was built and completed rapidly using our development skills and experience. gBIT has won the tender to provide an interface for AGRENCO UK Ltd. The interface will enable AGRENCO to take fixings at their Cheshire Head Office,
instead of customers having to phone the store (based in ABP bulk storage park Immingham).
It will provide a real-time view of stock movements as they happen. gBIT has successfully completed the Thomson project, on time and to budget. The project took 6 months to complete.
The latest Content Management Application has been released into production today, for both Thomson Holidays and TUI Deutschland.
The enhancements and internationalisation work carried out was hailed as a great success and the application now boasts multi-lingual support
as well as a much improved user interface and experience. gBIT have successfully deployed the Gemcom contract package. 1 month's development work culminated with a 5 days training and implementation, finishing on the 4th of September 2006. gBIT are expanding the business, as Thomson Holidays was the latest client to require our services. Earlier in the day,
a new contract was awarded to gBIT to enhance and internationalise their Content Management Application. This application is a key part of
bringing together information on hotels and other accommodation from around the world. It is used world-wide by Thomson resort staff to propose changes
to centrally held information at the Luton offices and to produce brochures, as well as for live feeds to a number of Thomson websites. |
